30th July - 2nd August Muff Festival

Over the August Bank Holiday weekend each year Muff is a mass of color and crowds. Of course this is all due to Muff Festival taking place

Muff Festival all started over discussions, following a recent stretch of good weather, in a local bar back in 1981. The idea was floated to have a sports festival over a weekend in the village to make the most of the weather and holiday time. Hence the idea of a sports festival in Muff was born.

1st – 8th August Clonmany Music Festival 2010

The Clonmany Festival to date has been in existence for 42 successful years, an annual event that has become entwined in local traditions and culture. The festival is somewhat unique in that it has always catered for the entire family, with something to offer for all age groups and a wide variety of tastes. The First Festival was an emigrants' Festival. Much of the spirit was due to the generosity of people at home with their time and talent to welcome back the emigrants from England, Scotland and America. This spirit still flourishes to this day, however the emigrants now return from all corners of the globe not just England, Scotland and America.
