Ballygorman: Baile Gorman - Gorman Townland. This is at Malin Head. There are the remains of an old church which is known as Gorman church. There is a holy well nearby. These are sited at the shore and the well, like that at Binion, becomes covered by the tide. There was a pilgrimage here on May Eve and on the fifteenth of August. The old church site may be connected with Saint Muirdealach, who is remembered in this area and who had a place of retreat at the Gap of Mamore.

Oran - Oran's church. This saint was a follower of Colmcille and he went to Iona with him. Two ancient churches in Inishowen, in the Clonmany area and in the Malin Head area are called after him.

Kilblaney: Cill Blaan - Blaan's Church. This church was dedicated to saint Blaan who also went to Scotland. He was a nephew of Saint Catan. Cill Blaan is near Greencastle. Dunblane in Scotland is also associated with him.

Churchtown: suggests the existence of a church here. It is a district in Carndonagh..
