Based at Portmór Pier near Ireland's most northerly point, this Fisherman's Co-op handles crab, lobster, oysters and mussels, which, thanks to modern purification tanks, guarantee that the produce will arrive alive and fresh at the various European destinations where they will eventually end up on exclusive dining tables from northern Scandinavia to Southern Italy taking in Britain, France Belgium, Spain among others.
This fine produce is also available to the general public and is served in many of the areas restaurants. Visitors can call at the pier and purchase fresh shellfish.
