2005 Buncrana Music Festival
The Buncrana Music Festival was formed in 1992. Since then it has gone from strength to strength, attracting 40,000 people to the town last year.
The main attraction of the event, held on the last week of July, is the nightly street entertainment, which attracts thousands of people to the main street.
The festival culminates in the traditional, and by now famous, fire work spectacular on the banks of Lough Swilly. This event alone is usually witnessed by around 15,000 people.
All roads lead to the Inishowen town of Buncrana.
