PROGRAMME OUTLINE
Inishowen Tourism Accel Hospitality Skills Project has been funded under
the Accel Programme with funds from the Department of Enterprise Trade
and Employment, The European Social Fund and the NDP, the 55 projects
that have been funded in total are being managed by Skillsnets Services.

We have been extremely fortunate that our project has been funded the
amount of €250,000 and with the cash matching of 23% will bring over €
307,500 to Inishowen over the period 1st of April 2006 to the 31st March
2008.
The project has funds for the training of owners, management and staff
full-time or part-time in the Hotels, Restaurants and Bars in the
Inishowen Peninsula
This project is also opened to other hospitality businesses such as Bed
and Breakfast/Guest Houses and other Hospitality/Tourism related
businesses.
To receive maximum funding we must provide:
" Training programmes for owners, management and staff who are employed
full-time or part-time [must be paying tax and national insurance]
" Training provided in Inishowen unless in exceptional circumstances.
" Accredited and non accredited training programmes meeting national and
international standards.
" Conferences and guest speakers relevant to the promotion of our local
industry and its companies and staff.
" Levy payment from employers on a €25 per €75 of grant subsistence.
" Direct debit payments for levy will be available.
" Payment of levy will entitles employers to any or all of the
programmes listed

It is important to note that the first 43 employers to sign up to the
programme will receive priority on course places.

Strand Hotel, Ballyliffen- 10am - 1pm
Lake of Shadows Hotel, Buncrana 2pm - 6pm
