Ballyliffin Golf Course is the most northerly golf club in Ireland, with spectacular views of Inishowen and the Atlantic.
With two 18 hole links courses, Ballyliffin is a challenging but rewarding stop for
players of all abilities. Nick Faldo played the
"Old Course" the weekend before he won the 1993 Carrolls Irish Open. The new "Glashedy"
links played from the championship "Tiger" tees (7,102 yds) is one of the sternest tests of golfing skill in Ireland. Ballyliffin has an excellent clubhouse, bar and dining
facilities with changing rooms, hot showers etc. Visiting golfing groups
and societies are welcome. Reservations are usually necessary at
weekends. www.ballyliffingolfclub.com
